Teaching commitmentBiographyGreg Hurworth is a composer, conductor, researcher and teacher. He studied Music at York University, and came to Australia in the 1970s. He holds a PhD in Ethnomusicology from Monash, and has particular interest inAustralian indigenous music and Chinese music. He was Director of Music at Caulfield Grammar, Wheelers Hill foreight years, and has been a lecturer at Monash since 1988. He has conducted a number of choirs in Melbournewhich have performed his own compositions and arrangements, as well as a broad repertoire of western music.
