ARECE 2010

The 17th and final ARECE Conference will be held from 19 to 21 of January 2010 at Monash University, Peninsula Campus, Frankston, Australia.

Announcing the final conference of the Australian Research in Early Childhood Conference

After this last conference, ARECE will run as IRECE - International Research in Early Childhood Conference - visit the new IRECE website.

The final conference of ARECE will be held at Monash University's beautiful Peninsula Campus, in south-east Melbourne, from January 19-21, 2010. From 2012 onwards, the ARECE conference will become a truly international conference and will no longer be routinely held at the Peninsula Campus. The 2010 conference will therefore be an exciting time of looking back, to acknowledge the origins and contributions of this wonderful conference, and of looking forward to future possibilities.

ARECE welcomes researchers in early childhood education, undergraduate and postgraduate students, early childhood educators, primary school teachers, teacher educators, policy personnel, and community advocates for young children to the conference.

Monash's Peninsula Campus is situated at the gateway to Victoria's beautiful Mornington Peninsula, an area famous for its vineyards, scenic beaches, art and antiques galleries, and rolling countryside.

You are warmly invited to contribute a single paper presentation, group symposium (3 related papers), research workshop, or a poster display to this conference. To submit your abstract, please complete the Call for papers form (pdf 18Kb) and submit it to by Monday 9 November, 2009, or post to:
