ARECE Journal submission guidelines

Editorial requirements for publication in the Journal

Articles submitted to Australian Research in Early Childhood Education must be research and/or theoretical papers that demonstrate a high level of scholarship and make a contribution to our understandings of early childhood education, care and development.

Reviewing Procedure

Australian Research in Early Childhood Education follows a double-blind reviewing process. Authors are therefore requested to place their name, affiliation and contact details on a separate page. Self-identifying citations and references in the article text should be left blank when manuscripts are first submitted. Authors are responsible for reinserting self-identifying citations and references once the reviewing process is completed and manuscripts to prepare for final submission and publication.

Word processing

Format

Electronic submission in Microsoft Word format is preferable, however papers may also be submitted in Rich Text format (.rtf) or Text format (.txt).  Please advise the editorial team if you are unable to meet these requirements.

  • full version manuscript including name, affiliation, and contact details
