      4. acknowledge the importance of spontaneous learning?
      5. acknowledge the idea that the group is more important than the individual?
  1. What consideration is given to Aboriginal learners’ prior experiences:
    1. Are learners’ existing perceptions of mathematics addressed?
      1. Are negative experiences of mathematics countered with positive ones?
      2. Is there a supportive “look” and “feel” — use of cool colours, simple navigation?
    2. Are learners’ attitudes to online and print based learning addressed?
      1. Do students prefer online options but also want some form of paper-based material?
    3. Has research into Aboriginal ways of learning taken place?
      1. Is there a holistic learning environment with family as focus; providing a non-judgemental learning context using money, budget, work skills etc.?
