The Sustainables Challenge project is funded by Sustainability Victoria as part of The Sustainables Household Challenge, an initiative of the State Sustainability frameworks: Our Environment, Our Future – Victoria’s Environmental Sustainability Framework and Victoria’s Learning to Live Sustainably strategy. ‘The Sustainables Household Challenge’ initiative encourages Victorians to commit to undertaking a number of sustainable actions at home (such as buying energy-efficient whitegoods, saving electricity and taking shorter showers).
Dr Cutter-Mackenzie has been contracted to evaluate the project. The evaluation project uses a suite of qualitative and quantitative methods. Four research phases are incorporated. These are:
- Pre-survey
- Think Tank Research Groups – Kids as Researchers
- Post-survey
- Research DVD
The evaluation is taking place alongside the actual project.
Grant: $62,000
