Program overview
The Leading Professional Learning program is part of the Victoria Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD)’s Learning to Lead Effective Schools strategy and has been designed and delivered by the Faculty of Education, Monash University. The program aims to:
- Develop participants’ knowledge of approaches to foster learning among adult colleagues;
- Develop participants’ understanding of the Department’s Principles of Highly Effective Professional Learning;
- Build participants’ capacity to design, implement and evaluate effective school-based professional learning that supports improved learning and teaching; and
- Develop participants’ ability to successfully lead change initiatives that contribute to the continued growth and development of their school.
