Always Unfinished Business: of singing the country
Always Unfinished Business: of singing the country features works-in-progress, stories and conversation.
The Exhibition, Bubbles on the Surface III in 2008/2009, is an artistic response by Aboriginal co-researchers, to the ARC funded project, Bubbles on the Surface: a place pedagogy of the Narran Lake. Always Unfinished Business: of singing the country features works-in-progress, and is about artworks in the making. The cover image is detail from Binem Binem by Daphne Wallace.
The third exhibition featured the work of Badger Bates, Treahna Hamm, Chrissiejoy Marshall and Daphne Wallace. The book, Always Unfinished Business: of singing the country charts some of the stories, conversations and ideas shared by the artists and researchers during the final year of the Research. It crosses between the conversations and artmaking.
