Abstract:

This book provides generic descriptions of 204 teaching procedures that have been reported by PEEL teachers over the 20 years of the project. Generic descriptions of teaching procedures make it easier for teachers to apply the procedure in their own subject and year level context. In each description, the important features of the procedure are noted and when and why it might be useful. Some examples are provided as well as similarities to and differences from any other related procedures. This 2nd edition includes a number of new procedures and extensive revisions to previous procedures provided in 1st edition (2005).
